CICA 5970 is a Canadian standard administered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is the SAS 70 United States equivalent developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. These programs have specific requirements for service providers who manage customer data and focuses on compliance, security and access.
